Race Paces.

Each dot is a single race lap, positioned by lap number (left to right) and lap time in seconds (lower = faster). Each driver has a distinct color. A gradual rise over a stint signals tire degradation; a sudden drop means a pit stop and fresh rubber. Spikes near the top are usually the slow in-lap before a stop, safety car periods, or laps lost in traffic. Excluding the opening lap, the driver with the lowest sustained lap times has the best race pace.
